Protecting industrial structures & equipment
Industrial sheeting provides a protective outer layer for structures and equipment exposed to weather, moisture, dust and operational activity.
On buildings, industrial roofing and cladding enclose the structure and protect internal areas. On insulated equipment, cladding shields the insulation from moisture ingress and physical damage that could affect the performance of the system or expose the substrate beneath it.
The material, profile and fixing method are determined by the project specification and intended application. RSC plans each installation around the dimensions of the asset, supporting structure and interfaces with surrounding components.

The scope may involve a complete installation or selected areas affected by corrosion, weather exposure or physical damage. Existing sheeting can be removed to expose the supporting structure or insulation before replacement work begins.
Industrial roofing & wall cladding
Roof and wall systems must accommodate the shape of the building, sheet profile, supporting framework and openings within the structure.
RSC installs industrial roofing and cladding across workshops, warehouses, processing facilities and other industrial buildings. Sheets are positioned and fixed according to the project requirements, with flashings and closures installed around edges, corners, ridges and openings.
Where existing cladding has deteriorated, RSC can remove affected sections and assess the accessible supporting areas before installing the replacement material. The scope can also address damaged flashings, loose sheets and areas where gaps have developed around penetrations or joints.
Rope access sheeting installation
Some roofs, façades and elevated plant areas cannot be reached from ground level. RSC can use rope access sheeting installation for suitable locations where the work requires controlled access at height.
The access method is selected around the structure, installation activity and movement of materials. Rope access may support inspections, localised repairs and the replacement of sheeting in defined areas.
For projects requiring working platforms or access for several trades, RSC can also coordinate scaffolding with the sheeting installation.
Cladding for insulated assets
Cladding around pipework, tanks, vessels and process equipment protects the insulation system from external conditions. Open joints, displaced sheets or damaged sections can allow moisture to reach the insulation and the metal surface beneath it.
RSC fabricates and installs cladding around the profile of the asset, including bends, joints, valves and other changes in geometry. Attention is given to overlaps, penetrations and termination points to maintain the continuity of the outer covering.
Maintenance work may include removing selected cladding sections for inspection, replacing damaged insulation and reinstating the protective cladding once the underlying work has been completed.
Installation checks & project coordination
Before work begins, RSC reviews the structure, existing materials, access requirements and specified sheeting system. Measurements and interfaces are checked to confirm the configuration required for the installation.
During the work, checks may cover sheet alignment, overlaps, fixings, flashings and the finish around openings and termination points. Removed materials and offcuts are managed according to the site requirements.
Where sheeting forms part of an insulation, Corrosion Under Insulation or building maintenance project, the removal and reinstatement stages can be coordinated with the related work.
