Turnkey Plant Maintenance
RSC Group provides turnkey industrial plant maintenance for mining operations, processing plants and industrial facilities across Africa.
As an industrial maintenance contractor, we bring the required trades and technical services together under one coordinated scope. This allows maintenance work to be planned around the condition of the plant and the available shutdown window.
Keeping plant assets operational
Wear and corrosion can affect equipment throughout an operating plant. Coatings may deteriorate while insulation conceals damage beneath the outer cladding. Structural components and access systems may also require attention within the same maintenance period.
Managing each activity under a separate contract can create gaps between trades or delay the next stage of work. Turnkey plant maintenance connects the required services through a shared programme, with responsibilities defined before work begins.
RSC reviews the maintenance requirements and site conditions to establish the work packages involved. The sequence is then developed around plant access, isolation requirements and the client’s operational priorities.
Our industrial maintenance services
RSC delivers multi-discipline industrial services across planned maintenance programmes, shutdowns and asset rehabilitation projects.
The final service combination is determined by the asset condition and work identified during maintenance planning.

One coordinated industrial plant maintenance scope
Turnkey industrial services give the client one point of coordination across the agreed work packages. Site mobilisation and access planning are managed within the same programme. Technical interfaces between services can also be considered before execution begins.
This coordination is particularly important when one activity depends on another. Scaffolding may need to be installed before insulation is removed. Once the exposed substrate has been inspected and treated, the insulation and cladding can be reinstated.
By establishing these dependencies early, RSC can organise personnel and equipment around the required sequence.
Plant shutdown maintenance
A shutdown creates a defined period in which plant assets can be accessed for work that cannot be completed during normal operation.
Before the shutdown, RSC works with the client’s team to confirm the scope and site requirements. Labour and materials are planned against the maintenance schedule, while access arrangements are prepared for the areas being released.
During execution, progress is tracked across the active work fronts. Changes arising from inspection findings can be incorporated into the programme once the required work has been reviewed and approved.
Maintenance records & close-out
Project records provide a clear account of the work completed across the plant. Depending on the scope, these may include inspection findings and application records. Quality documentation and completion reports may also form part of the handover file.
Close-out information helps the client verify the completed work and identify areas that may require monitoring during future maintenance cycles.
