Abrasive Blasting

RSC Group delivers grit blasting services for new and existing steelwork across industrial, mining, infrastructure and energy projects. The required surface condition depends on the substrate, its current state and the protective system specified for the asset. RSC plans each scope around these requirements, using abrasive blasting to remove surface contaminants and create the profile needed for the next stage of treatment.

Asbestos Removal

RSC Group provides asbestos removal services for industrial facilities, commercial buildings and infrastructure undergoing refurbishment or demolition. As a Department of Employment and Labour-accredited asbestos contractor, RSC undertakes asbestos abatement in line with the approved removal plan and applicable regulatory requirements. Each project accounts for the type of asbestos-containing material, its condition and the work that must follow once removal is complete.

Asset Integrity Services

RSC Group provides asset integrity services for oil and gas operations, mining facilities and industrial plants across Africa. By combining inspection support with corrosion management, we help clients establish the condition of their assets and identify where intervention is required. Risk-based inspection also allows maintenance resources to be directed towards equipment with the greatest operational significance.

RSC Group provides ceramic lining services for mining operations, mineral processing plants and industrial facilities where equipment is exposed to abrasive material. Using alumina ceramic liners and ceramic wear tiles, we protect chutes, hoppers and other material-handling equipment against wear. Each system is configured around the equipment geometry, material flow and operating conditions.

Concrete Rehabilitation

RSC Group provides industrial concrete repair and rehabilitation for mining operations, processing plants and other facilities where concrete has deteriorated under demanding operating conditions. Corrosion Protection

RSC Group provides corrosion protection services for industrial assets exposed to moisture, chemicals, changing temperatures and other corrosive conditions. Industrial Scaffolding

RSC Group provides industrial scaffolding services for construction, maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects across Africa. Scaffolding is planned around the structure, work activities and operating conditions of each site. RSC erects, modifies and dismantles access systems for industrial plants, mines, processing facilities, power stations and oil and gas environments.

Industrial Sheeting

RSC Group installs industrial sheeting and cladding on buildings, process equipment and other structures across mining, manufacturing, energy and oil and gas operations. From external wall cladding to protective coverings around insulated assets, each installation is planned around the structure, materials and site conditions. RSC undertakes new installations, replacement work and repairs to damaged or deteriorated sheeting.

Passive Fire Protection

RSC Group provides passive fire protection services for structural elements, service penetrations and cable routes within industrial facilities, commercial buildings and infrastructure projects. The work may include intumescent coatings, fire stopping, penetration sealing and cable tray fire protection. Each system is installed according to the approved fire protection design, specified fire-resistance requirements and configuration of the building or asset.

Pickling & Passivation Services

RSC Group provides pickling and passivation services for stainless steel surfaces used in industrial equipment, piping, tanks and fabricated components.

RSC Group provides Denso wrapping services for pipelines, pipework and fittings exposed to corrosive environments. Using petrolatum tape wrapping systems, our teams protect external pipe surfaces against moisture and other conditions that can contribute to corrosion. The system can be applied to new pipework or used during the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing assets.

RSC Group provides industrial rope access services for inspection, maintenance, painting and specialist work at height. By using ropes and associated access equipment, trained technicians can reach elevated, confined or difficult sections of an asset without extensive fixed access structures. Each project is planned around the work activity, structure, site conditions and access requirements.

RSC Group provides industrial rubber lining services for equipment exposed to abrasion, corrosion and demanding process conditions. Rubber linings can be installed inside tanks, pipes, chutes and other assets to create a protective layer between the substrate and the material moving through or stored within them. Each scope is planned around the asset configuration, operating environment and rubber lining system specified for the application.

RSC Group provides tank lining solutions that protect the internal surfaces of storage tanks, process vessels and containment systems. The lining requirements are determined by the tank substrate, stored product and operating conditions. Turnkey Plant Maintenance

RSC Group provides turnkey industrial plant maintenance for mining operations, processing plants and industrial facilities across Africa. As an industrial maintenance contractor, we bring the required trades and technical services together under one coordinated scope. This allows maintenance work to be planned around the condition of the plant and the available shutdown window.

RSC Group provides HP and UHP water jetting services for industrial cleaning, surface preparation and maintenance projects. Using water delivered at controlled high or ultra-high pressure, our teams remove coatings, corrosion products, scale and other unwanted material from industrial assets. The process can be adapted to the condition of the surface, material being removed and result required by the project specification.
